  • Create and manage Rushkit accounts
  • Authenticate users and maintain secure sessions
  • Process and verify media offloads
  • Generate proxies and manage presets

  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access

  • Send onboarding and service-related emails (via Resend)

3. How We Share Your Information

We share information only as necessary to deliver Rushkit's core functionality. We use trusted third parties to support our platform:

  • Vercel (hosting and analytics)
  • Turso (edge database)
  • Resend (email delivery)
  • Stripe (payment processing)

These providers act as processors and do not own or repurpose user data.

We DO NOT share personal data with data brokers, advertisers, or third parties for marketing purposes.

4. AI & Automated Features

Rushkit may use AI-powered features such as slate detection and metadata extraction. We do not:

  • Send user footage to external AI vendors for model training
  • Train models on your content
  • Store or transmit raw video frames to cloud services

AI processing runs locally on your device. AI outputs are informational — you are responsible for reviewing any AI-generated metadata before committing.

5. Geographic Scope & California Users

Rushkit currently operates within the United States.

If you live in California, you have specific rights under CCPA/CPRA including: right to know what data we collect, right to request deletion, right to access or export your data, right to correct inaccurate information, and right to opt out of marketing communications. We do not “sell” personal data as defined by CCPA/CPRA.

6. Data Retention

  • Account data — retained until you request deletion
  • Project data — retained unless you request removal
  • Logs — retained for 90 days
  • Uploaded documents — retained until deleted by you or upon request
